Cool and Wet

We finally got rain, after a full month of nothing but a sprinkle or two at times and little in the months before that. 

Yesterday it rained hard. The gauge measured between a full half inch and three quarters, so it was a good soaker. 

Today is cool and sparkly. Everything is wet.

But it's still not enough to overcome all the months of dry and the dry winter before that. The breeze is kicking up on this cool morning and the sun is out, so things will dry out again.

But for now I'll enjoy this cool, wet morning when everything looks refreshed.
