Orders 2026
What to get next year and for where:
More plumbagos
they are doing well in the dining room window garden, need to fill empty spots
Salvia arizonica 'Deep Blue'
tuck a mass of several in the Dining Room Window garden - they grow in shade
(maybe add one in the potting bench curve in the empty spot where the gaura is now?)
✓ Radio Red salvias ✓ got four at Newman's, fall 2025 ✓ ✓
I like them better than the Hot Lips ones I have

Another Lacey Blue dwarf Russian sage for the circle garden
the upright spikes and color would look great tucked in with other plants
God help me, another try at Ceanothus ameicanus
because I liked it so much and it is supposedly adaptable to dry lean soil here.
One to go by the garage stoop and one to grow in a pot.
Also, some other things to add:
Replace the Electric Blue penstemon in circle garden
✓ One gallon at HCG
Amsonia Blue Ice
Four more to fill in line around circle garden
✓ 6 small pots at Bluestone Perennials
Add to existing in circle garden
✓ 3 small pots at HCG
Add to existing by bench in circle garden

And . . . added a Rocky Mountain penstemon to my High Country Gardens order -- to go where?
Put it along the strip where the juniper was, planted among the verbascum and Black Adder agastache? (spring flowering before the agastache.) Easy to grow, long lived.
✓ One gallon at HCG
✓ 1 small pot at HCG
? Maybe add it to the strip between birdbath and potting bench curve. Tall. Wants no water.
Also added 3 more blue flax plants to trial
✓ 1 small pot at HCG
? Maybe put one in driveway strip where Palmer's penstemon was? Will be nice with golden yarrow. Likes dry and hot.
Also added plants to tuck into the moss rock border:
From HCG ✓ 3 small pots of Angelina sedum, and ✓ 3 small pots of Blue Woolly veronica (one for the driveway strip).
